Crochet 101 — 3 years ago
I got my first crochet lesson when I was 22 from my then-14 year old sister (the basic chain)...the rest I taught myself from books. My first completed project was a layette set for my first friend to have a baby, since then I have completed over a dozen baby blankets, and nine full-sized afghans. My main goal WAS to make “everybody I love” a blanket but my list grows too fast to make that goal…I settled for making one for each family member, and had ALMOST completed it (was finishing one blanket to make that goal) when a housefire destroyed three of my blankets. I haven’t gotten my crochet fingers back out since then, but do feel I need to replace the “gone three”....so this is my crochet goal—finish the replacements so I can go on with new creations.
