explore boston

I’ve lived in Boston for two years as a student and I still can’t claim to have made it my home. I can’t even boast about knowing it – I’ve not really ventured beyond the campus and a few surrounding areas. I don’t know the “insider” spots to hang out, the cheap but delicious eateries, the good clubs, the shows not to miss, the historical sites and neighborhoods to explore. I’ve not made the most of all the opportunities of living in a city and when I go back in the Fall for my third year, I want to really discover it and not waste my weekends complaining about how boring college is with other despondent, resigned students.

I’ve lived here almost a year and I’ve never truly been exploring – I need to spend a day just wandering.

Ok it’s currently 10 degrees out, but when it warms up I need to get out and see more of the city. I’ve lived here for 10 years but feel like I’ve confined my experiences to school and work – need to expand my horizons and see more of the city before my proposed move…

I moved here a year ago, and while I definitely didn’t take advantage of living here, I did do a little bit of exploring.

For those of you who want to explore, I suggest visiting the USS Constitution (it’s free!) and wandering around the Forest Hills Cemetery. Yeah, weird to suggest going to a cemetery, but it’s quite pretty (and there’s art!).

as long as i dont have to do it alone.

I love almost everything about Boston… cept the cost of living.

I’ve lived an hour away my entire life. I currently work there, five days a week. I’ve never truly explored.

Heading out to Boston Thursday night! Staying in Peabody, a wedding’s in Beverly.

Been there once before….I love it!!!! Boston is amazing!!!!!

we totally explored brookline on saturday, it was so awesome.

finally went to the japoinnaise bakery at st marys last night. got some hot dried peas.
then thought about going to o’leary’s but the food just seemed unhealthy. so we went to the common ground instead. and then got bubble tea.
