I am so lucky to have a husband who makes me giggle with just a look and two best friends with whom I revert to about 18 years old.
I got to spend the whole day with both of them this week and we giggled all day. It does a body good and I look forward to Xmas when we do the same thing again.
How to laugh and laugh and laugh and laugh

I watched the film “The Notebook” today for the first time.
I tend to cry easily at films, TV and books but I began to sob my heart out during this film… It was at this point my dear hub-ub started to giggle. He walked across the room, took me in his arms and told me he loved me, then laughed his arse off at me.
I began to cry and laugh at the same time – making some of the most bizarre noises I’ve heard. Much later my stomach muscles hurt from the laughter and my eyes are red from the tears. A whole host of emotions expressed in the space of one film!
Two comedy shows this weekend. Both of them were funny but Rhod Gilbert was hilarious.
Tears streaming, trying to breathe hilarious!
It was fantastic and I still ache!!
We got such a bad case of the giggles that we got shushed at the cinema. It was before the film and I said something that was a total double entendre. It ended up with hubbie spitting his coke out he was laughing so much.
I got that sweet ache that you get in your cheeks and stomach.
Happy days.

a friend told me this true story.
His mate had invited him to come along to church, and the mate asked his minister to make the congregation laugh. None of the usual doom and gloom please, give them a healthy dose in fact. What the world needs.
I’ve forgotten exactly how the minister managed to have them all in stitches in the aisles, but there was agony, and roaring with laughter.
During the service the minister singled out my friend who was begging for mercy, and hardly able to breathe.
The minister looked up to the heavens and asked that my friend get double the dose :)
Hubbie and I have just laughed our socks off at the concept of a cat whisperer “go, lay in that patch of sun, turn your back on your owner…” and this then mutated to a chicken whisperer.
Well it could happen!!
It’s probably not funny to anyone else but it is still amusing us.
I went to see “flash dance – the musical” on Friday with my two greatest friends. We did laugh mightily. Sometimes at each other, sometimes at the show but mostly because we don’t get out much!!
That’s something we’re aiming to change next year.
Why does this usually happen late at night ?
My husband and I just laughed and I can’t even explain why now!
It was good to get that sweet ache though.
I’m wondering is it my sense of humor that needs to improve first?
