Well, I’ve got the ball and the video. Oh, and that stretchy thing too, whatever it’s called. Any advice on how to get motivated? Pilates just makes me sore so far!!!

Worth doing!

A friend of mine has done the Body Control Pilates teacher training and I’ve been having a few one-to-one’s with him. Invaluable. You have to get the basics down, such as finding neutral or you’ll just have to go back and learn it again. Once you have it then you simply apply it in all the moves and then of course in everyday life.

I want to make Pilates part of my morning routine, but I ‘m starting from scratch – in every way. So I guess the first thing I ‘m going to have to do is how to build this up into a sustainable habit, and more importantly – where to start. If anyone has any advice to offer, please don ‘t hesitate.

Am going to a class at the YMCA once/week, and I can really tell a difference. Didn’t care too much for Yoga, but I don’t have to be the Amazing Human Pretzel to do Pilates.
