Abigail has adopted a little Callie!
I thought this was a lofty goal when I set it, but I’m finding that I already do this anyway. I never want meat for breakfast, and I rarely want it for lunch. If I do eat meat at lunchtime (because I’m out at a restaurant with a friend, for example), I actively avoid it at dinner. On to trying new vegetarian recipes.

Maybe I should up the ante to cook a veggie meal each week. I find that eating vegetarian isn’t too hard. Today I had a Nicoise salad with Ahi tuna on top. I’m not sure where I stand on pescatarianism.

Abigail has adopted a little Callie!
This hasn’t been particularly hard for the first four days, since I generally eat two meals a day with a snack in between, and one of the two is “breakfast” anyway.
I’ve actually not eaten much meat at all lately, which is good. Some of the times that I have, it hasn’t been that good. I need to remind myself that I’d rather have a salad than a hamburger, and that I only like meat when it’s really well-cooked, not when it’s just dumped on a grill and charred to death. My reason for wanting to eat more vegetarian dishes and foods is to eat more healthfully. I could have done a lot better than last night’s bacon cheeseburger, even though I was meeting my goal. =/
