own a cottage

Buy a cottage in Lake District. Use it for us + family + rent it out to cover overheads (though not capital)

would def. be a little cottage in ireland… on a hill… over-looking the ocean…maybe a nice rounded red door and a flower/herb garden…nothing would be better than falling asleep every night to the sound of waves and waking up to the smell of rosemary…wow I just out-dorked myself ha!

on a lake… with lots of sunny windows and fresh air of the north woods.

I am very happy to be part of it and see all the other goals that i knew i wanted but never fully realized. so yes, i still want that cottage and i am saving up for it as we speak and i want to thank this site and all the people on it who inspire me!

I live in Cottage Country. A lot of people have waterfront cottages here on Manitoulin Island. It is great if you live and work in the city to have a way to escape.

Yeah this one isn’t going to happen in the near future. I’ll have to have some money set aside to make it a reality. It will likely be when I am married and settled that I start entertaining this goal. I’m placing it on HOLD for now.

This cottage we spent Canada Day at was awesome! Great view, road access and direct lakefront! The deck was huge and just made for partaying!
