My third donation was today…only 97 left to go! But I’m probably getting a tattoo towards the end of the month and I won’t be able to donate for another year after I get the tattoo. So that will push me back a little. But I’m getting there, slowly but surely!

Well I just donated blood for the first time today, but I noticed that at the donation center here, you get a little silver leaf with your name on it once you’ve donated blood 100 times. So thats my goal. If I donate as often as I can, I should be at 100 by the beginning of 2024, when I will be 35 years old. We’ll see…

Well, in Canada (and I am sure it’s similar elsewhere) you can start at 17 and donate every 56 days (about 6 times a year). I am 18 and have donated 5 times, should get numbers 6 and 7 in before I turn 19 and as long as I live a long enough life and go often enough I should make 100 and beyond. Regret not going more this year, live with in walking distance of a donating center. But I am doing pretty good I think
