make a memory movie of last years camcorder recordings and photos

Given that “last year” is now two years ago and that this year I have used the video camera, well, not at all, this goal is just strange. I did make a movie of a camping trip. It was an awesome trip and fun to use iMovie. And, actually, seeing as how this was one of the few times I used the camera, I could sortakinda call this goal done.

No. I’ll just give it up.

This is a great way to create ‘watchable’ videos for friends and family. 2 hours of Autie Gertrude’s 70th birthday party will pretty much kill the momentum any group event, but if you can cut right to the part where she sets her wig on fire, that’s classic. Add tunes from the year the video is shot and you’ve got a bit of pop-culture and history as well. I’ve done several of these and even carried the idea over to vacation and special event videos as well.
