I’m a steady 209 these days, but I still need to lose a bit more.
Goal, 199!!!

i would like to lose another 5 kilos/ten pounds. i have been using diet pills for a long time… they do nothing except make me PILE on the weight when i run out beause my metabolism slows down. im a binge eater. i will starve my self for a couple of days and then eat everything in sight for the next couple of days. im not proud of it, but i have made myself throw up after a particular horrible eating marathon. i would like to be healthy.
i excersise sometimes.. taking the dog for a walk, sit-ups (i have a FAT tummy) etc but usually after work im too tired, because im on my feet all day.
i love to eat, and i hate to eat. my boyfriend is the head chef at the restaurant i work at, i cant get away from food.
As I wrote in the original Lose Ten: I was 130 at the beginning of the summer, and I am currently 120, but like beautifulheart I would like to be 110 or IDEALLY 100 by the time school starts. The first ten were certainly the easiest for me, as I’ve been flopping around at 120 for a few weeks now. It’s so difficult to resist snacking—I’m hoping I’ll find some support/inspiration here, and in return, I’ll give a lot back! Keep it up, you guys!
I’ve been weighing myself everyday, not obsessively, but more to see how things move around and when I can “officially” say I’m down some.
I’ve been inching down and been hovering around the number I put in my weightlog today, so I’m OK with saying that I’m officially down another 2.5. I want to be at “another 10 down” by the end of September, so 7.5 in the next 3 weeks—that’s 2/week. If I keep on getting some regular activity and make good food choices and do my 8 minutes a day (i.e. STAY DISCIPLINED!!!!) this should be an achievable goal (but still an achievement).
I swear… I wish I really knew whether it was me or the scale. Last night, I weighed myself and it showed me a loss of 4 lbs since Saturday (I know, that’s a lot), for a total of just under 15 since I got back from London 3 1/2 weeks ago.
Then this morning (I know, neurotic…) I weighed anywhere from -1 lb (from my 3 1/2 week-ago-weight) to -7 lbs. BOTH were significantly higher than my 11pm weight.
How is it possible for my weight to INCREASE during a time when nothing is entering or exiting my body?
I know that my scale is wonky, but I check all numbers by getting on and off a couple times in a row. Moving it around a little. Double-checking that my feet are not on a “light spot” or whatever.
My last-night number was very reliable. I got within 1 lb +/- about 4 or 5 times. This morning was really all over the place.
Outside of that all, I’ve been continuing to make decent food choices, get exercise, and have been good about doing my 8minutes each morning (at least thus far this week)
Ok. I’ve lost 10 lbs in the past 3 weeks by trying very hard to make better food choices and exercise more. This past week has been pretty bad with the exercising (but I will today and tomorrow) but not awful with the food.
Keeping a food/exercise log at fitday.com has helped a lot thus far.
I am going to try to keep it all up to lose another 10. Hopefully in 3-4 weeks.
I used be in OK shape but somewhere in college I stopped being as active and began to gain a lot of weight. Five years into my job I was up to 185(I’m only 66.5 inches)
Since January, I’ve changed my diet and tried to stay awway from my old bad habits. As of August 1st I weight 145 and still need to lose some more fat and regain my lost muscle.
I lost 10 lbs in 3 months. I dropped from 141 lbs to 130.5 lbs.
I am now working on losing another 10 lbs and dropping to 120 lbs.
