Does anyone know when you could get piercings where they don’t look at your ID?. Because I’m not eighteen yet and I don’t want my parents knowing.
How I did it: Ok, this starts out just the same way as any other piercing. See it, want it, do it. When i saw someone with their lobes pierced twice I thought it was super and of course jumped in my little black jeep and sped to Karma Music Store to get a new piercing needle and some new jewelry. When i got home I made sure to sterilize my piercing station in front of the mirror and the new needle and jewelry. I didnt even bother with trying to numb my ears or anything sincelobe piercing hardly hurt at all. (In fact i think they're fun to do.) So i looked at some pics on the web to compare placements and all that good stuff. and got my trusty easily washed off non toxic pen and studied my lobes for a good five minutes trying to get the spots marked evenly. (use ur 1'st lobes as a measuring point when trying to even the 2'nd out.) I Folded up a small wash cloth and stuck it behind my lobe, Put the needle against the mark i had made and quickly pushed the needle through. *POP*POP* I left the needle in for about 1 1/2 - 3 minutes and then quickly slid it out and put the jewelry in. (leave it pretty lose if you have any kind of stud or normal earing as it will swell a bit.)
Now, not thinking about the fact that i did indead have to sleep within the next week. I did the same thing to the other. It went pretty much the same except i was hurried and wanted to get the jewelry in as fast as possible, so i only left the needle in for about 30 seconds- 1 minute. MISTAKE!!!! It bled. Not like gushing, but pretty bad. (i love the fact that no matter how many piercing youve had and done, every time there's lots of blood your 1'st thought is "OH FUCK! WHAT DID I DO THIS FOR?!" But i just quickly wiped away the blood with a coton ball with peroxide on it and put the jewelry through. It only bled for a few seconds after that and didnt really hurt much either. Then (as always) i admired my new little piercings in the mirror. they looked great and were perfectly even. They had come out even better than i had had expected! I was extatic After a few moments of inspecting them i cleaned up my mess (a few bloody tissues and cotton balls, and peroxide.) I cleaned the little holes quickly with some peroxide on a Q-tip and then i was done. I take that back, that night and every morning and night for about 2 weeks i did salt soakes and cleaned the crusties away when need be. (peroxide and bactine is really good for piercings.never use alchohol) After the 2 weeks they were both healed up and then i olny started cleaning them at night or every other night. They're been good ever since and after a month i was brave enough to change jewelry from a straight bar to captive bead rings. (CBR's) They look wonderful if i do say so myself ^-^
OH! and that night im glad i didnt toss and turn at night! I deff got lucky. If ur gonna do this please be smart and do one at a time. wait a week or two and do the other. Dont worry about looking stupid cuz you wont. You'll look smart when your not the one who slept on a new piercing and ripped it out or caused it to reject! ;)

I got my second hole at twelve.
It didn’t hurt. AT ALL.
Now I want a lip piercing, and other piercings as well.
My parents won’t allow me to do it, but I’ll sneak out some day.
It’s not like I will need parent advisory when I’m sixteen.
I use to have my ears pierced but they are really sensitive and got infected. I want to get them again but I’m afraid the same thing might happen again. I have no idea what to do about it! I hope I’ll figure out how to keep my ears pierced for good!!!
So after about three or four days my mom discovered my ears. She was furious. I didn’t take them out, but I feel like a very rotten daughter. It was fun for a while, but I miss the clean-cut good girl look. I’m SO glad she didn’t find out about the other hole in a more important appendage. I’ve decided not to get any more piercings on my ears. I probably won’t wear the second ones for long. But I AM going to get something less noticeable pierced to satisfy my craving.
I guess I just lost interest. Last year it seemed important to me, and now, I don’t even care much about wearing earrings in the holes I already have.
I started off with one hole per lobe (mom’s doing); as of now I’ve made it so I have two in my left, and three in my right (just the way I prefer it). I know: it’s stupid to do it on your own, but like I care. In terms of ears, I want to get three more, but since it’s cartilage, I MIGHT get it done instead of doing it myself.
I’m going home for winter break… I really hope I don’t get in trouble for piercing my second holes. They’re both completely healed now and only hurt if I sleep on them the wrong way.
Elizabeth is fighting with the CPA exam... Grrr!
I have 4 piercings in each of my ears. They start in my lobes and go in a row up the sides a bit. I usually wear small silver hoops in my lobes, and graduated crystal stud earrings in my other 3 piercings. I would love to get my cartilage done at some point!
I do martial arts though, so new piercings are kind of a pain. We aren’t allowed to wear jewelery when we work out (ever seen an earring ripped out? not pretty) so we have to wear tape over the piercing until it heals and can be taken out. The last time I got my ears pierced I looked like and elf for two months! Not looking forward to that.
Also, it is annoying to take out and put in 4 pairs of earrings every time I take a class. Plus I am going to be an accountant, so I should probably refrain from piercing anything again. But I still want to! I really love what I have. At some point I will probably take the plunge, until then I can’t wait!
Something scary happened…one of my ears started bleeding really badly for no apparent reason. It hurts! It’s not infected, just bleeding. I’m scared that my ear will tear or close or get messed up somehow.
I changed my earrings 5 weeks and 6 days after getting them pierced…BAD IDEA. It was a very painful event and after one day I switched back to the earrings I had gotten pierced with. I thought my ears were healed, but apparantly they weren’t. I then waited two more weeks before changing my earrings again (I’m pretty impatient) and this time went without a hitch. No pain, no struggle, and the new holes don’t feel any different from the old holes!
Right now I’m just wearing a large pearl earring in the first hole and a smaller pearl earring in the second hole, but I want to come up with some different combinations. I originally got second holes with the intention of wearing a small diamond earring in the second, but that idea gets old pretty quickly. I’ll have to think up some more ideas…
