i don’t know how to shoot a gun. i’ve only done it once and i wasn’t a natural. the loud noise spooked me. I would like to be a decent shot.

So. My daddy promised that he would take me this summer. I am the most paranoid person ever, so I feel like knowing how to shoot would give me some sort of weird sense of security.

My husband and I took a class in april sometimes to get our concealed weapons permit. What a good time that was! I am a pretty good shot too. I bought my own .38 revolver, and I love it. We go shooting every once in awhile so I don’t lose my touch. ;-)

I took a firearms safety class several years back. Last time I shot was in 2002 with my then boyfriend now husband. We should go to the range again, sometime…

I will do this on April 10. I’ll be at a local shooting range. I’m really willing to learn target shooting. Good thing I don’t need to own a gun yet. I can rent a gun and practice shooting.

We went out on a perfect, cold, beautiful Thanksgiving weekend morning. Learning to shoot with a .22 and a .30-06 was a great time, much better than dealing with shopping at four in the morning. My friend’s grandpa (we shot on his property) was impressed that I handled the thirty ought six with no trouble. His grandma was impressed that I wasn’t a wuss about how cold it was. I kick so much ass. And I got a free lesson in rifle safety so I don’t shoot anybody on accident! I’m so glad I have smart friends who teach me things and trust me with firearms.

i watch too many movies. i’m probably never gonna have to run away from the feds, or have a hitman after me. but it would be pretty damn cool for something like that to happen and i pull a gun out of my back pocket and i’m all like think again, bitch.

Bought myself a SIG 229. Enrolled in a gun range. Bought some target rounds. Talk about adrenaline rush. So far I have fired over 2k rounds. I keep getting better and better everytime. It’s addictive.
