Learn how to play electric guitar

Hubby is better, but I stopped practicing for now, until I can get my chronic pain issues under control. The axe is getting dusty, but I’ll pick up with it again soon.

I wouldn’t say that I have given up, but as time goes on I grow and change and develop, and so do my goal. I just don’t have the desire any more. This was my goal for the person I was two years ago, but it’s not a goal that the me right now want to do.

...is the first/only song I know on guitar…thus far. Yay! :)

I have had it for awhile. I know a handful of chords now. Yay! I just don’t know how to do the counting and strumming to songs. =(

I think the electric guitar is the instrument with the best sound. And I totally want to learn how to play. :)

Settled for 9V battery and now my amp is alive again. Did not practice for very long past 2 days, as hubby is in the hospital.

I’m back on track, practicing for 45 minutes today. I still don’t have power for my amp, but that’s no excuse not to practice chords!

Purchased an electric guitar from the local pawn shop. Got a good deal on it, and a practice amp.

Been practicing about an hour a day, up to a few weeks ago, when my amp quit. I need a new power cord!

I have a cheap acoustic to, but I love the sounds that come from the electric guitar.

I’ve learned 10 chords so far… working on more. Wishing my fingers would behave better for power chords.

I would really like to learn how to play an electric guitar and play like Daron Malakian and stuff! Ugh!? that would be so Pickles Kiedis cool!

I decided to cough up some cash and take guitar lessons from a local guy. I had my first lesson today and I honestly think I learned more in this one day with him than in the past three months on my own.

We are going to meet every couple of weeks because money is tight. My homework now consists of practicing America’s Horse with no name, A Grateful Dead Song, and my choice, Free falling by Tom Petty.
