open a smokey little jazz club downtown that has style and warmth

Me and my best friend dreamed of this constantly. We even had a name for the place that had a special connection to the two of us. There are only one or two jazz clubs in this town and none of them are really all that good. I’m thinking Chicago style, smokey, comfy private, maybe an open mike night once a month for poetry reading…..to spend the rest of my life listining to music with feeling and getting paid to do it
