    This was your work approach, it needs to be used to regain life control and be used to continue through life.

    Get rid of the waffle and make this follow acheiveable principles.

    Example. Worry less or do not worry. This cannot be measured. Compare, when I am worrying about something, I will note down what it is, how I can change it, what I can do about it and why it came to my mind. Most things we worry about happen becuase of things we have not done previously or are avoiding facing and confronting, so they keep coming back to us. You could also set a goal to read a book about how to stop worrying, how to change thought processes to enable yourself not to have your energy consumed negatively. You only have limited energy. Using it negatively leaves less energy to use positively.

    Example 2 Sort out my papers. Not bad…but what is sorted. 1 Organise a record keeping system. Take one pile of papers each week and move to the new indexed system. Review the index after two weeks and see if it needs to be amended. Initially sort papers by Urgency and importance. The rest can wait if they are only to be filed. A date should be added to the file for when it can be thrown away. That way we avoid the mess accumulating in future. You may like to add on the cover a note to add the date you last referred to it and you will see that most filed papers are not needed at all. Identify the most imortant ones and make duplicates. Keep these in case of loss, preferably outside your home, someplace equally safe…with a relative or a lawyer who others can contact for example. This would be the papers you would first need if you were caught short abroad, your house burnt down, you were needing a copy of a document while away at interview, you needed to consult insurance, worse still you need someone to wrap up your affairs for you. This is never an easy time so why make it harder for them.
