I went to see this healer named Howard Wills a while back and it was pretty amazing, there were 100 people crammed in this yoga studio, it seemed that everybody had something going on and Howard with a snap of his finger would shift the energy and people were having miracles happen. I downloaded his prayers, they deal with forgiveness…Go figure! Forgiveness seems to be at the core of all our problems, be it physical, mental or spiritual. As I say these prayers it’s becoming pretty obvious that I am in the process of peacemaking.
Peace and blessings to all

Daily prayers
Sometimes I write what are called affirmative prayers and use them to heal something unwanted in my life or to enhance something I feel is good in my life. And then there are times when I feel that the typical mode of prayer is nothing more than lip service to myself, I mean it seems like such a mechanical thing to do, and it’s not like God doesn’t know what is in my heart. So when I’m in that mode instead of forcing myself to get down on my knees and saying a prayer of supplication, I am simply repeating in my mind several times during the day things like “Thy will be done” and “Thank you God”. I’m also asking that God bless people whenever I think of it. Just a quick little mental blessing of “God Bless You with Peace, Prosperity, and Perfect Health” as I’m driving or out shopping, I try really hard to bless the ones that look sad, worried, angry, or crazy…. So, pretty much everyone.

I want to re-organize my goals. This one will continue, but will be incorporated into a new goal.

I don’t mind having to wait for the next TRAX train to arrive because it gives me a few minutes of meditation time. Sometimes I can do it on the ride too, so it’s all good.

At meditation servive I had a revelation. The up and down, love and fear feelings I’ve been putting myself through are not about A. It’s about the relationship I have with myself really. Accepting and then criticizing, wanting then not being sure. When I seek balance and have both feet firmly on the floor and choose to be grounded, I refrain from the cycle of a downward spiral. It’s my choice, always~

... slip away – time & time again? In the past, I never needed a “goal” to achieve this… as part of daily life, ritual – my way of being this was what I did…
... Now, I need the reminder or I get caught up in the “noise” of day to day life!

The more I really focus on this goal, the clearer things become for me. When I meditate on a specific thing, and really tune in to the prayer, words, or thoughts that come…the answers flow. Not always immediately, but I know that in due time they will. I can feel it. It’s been worth the time and energy I’m putting into it.~

I read a weekly focus lesson from Cheryl Richardson. She mentioned a CD by Snatum Kaur- titled Grace. So I ordered it from Amazon. It came Friday and I’ve listened to it several times. She mentioned that it was beautiful and inspirational. It has a meditative feel to it. The cover was surprising, I think the writings are in the Sikh tradition- some of it is in another language. It is beautiful.
