My back hurts. So I don’t do my exercises. So my back hurts.
You know that saying about the foolish person being the one who keeps doing the same thing and expects to get a different result?
So time to stop being foolish, and start doing all the things the experts have told me to do. Eat better. Gentle exercise. Don’t go crazy at the gym for a week, hurt myself, and lay off for three months. Bend at the knees. Stop lifting heavy things. Work with myself, not against myself.
Lets see how doing the right things works for a change.

I tried my first Power Plate session. Not sure it helped at all though. I’ll stretch a lot over the next few days and then decide whether or not my hip has made any progress. It’s all a spectacular waste of money.
I’m sick of feeling so restricted.

I bought my first pair of heels in about 3 years a few weeks ago (I am 5’11 so don’t tend to wear them). I can’t walk in them so was stumbling about the house, when something clicked and my hip freed up some more. I don’t understand.
The only form of exercise I’ve been doing lately is Pilates which doesn’t seem to have helped much.

I have got to incorporate these exercises into some kind of morning routine or I just don’t see this happening, ever.

First step:
make an appointment with a sports doctor.
I must have had around 20 physio treatments by now. It’s been restricted for over a year, which is one of the reasons I’ve made little progress on my flexibility-related goals.
(I cannot afford this.)
