I totally know what I want, now it’s just finding a place to do it!
How to get an awesome haircut
How I did it: I did a lot of research. I looked at image galleries on several websites and flipped through tons of magazines cutting out pictures of styles I liked. Finding a truly awesome haircut can be a daunting task. Finally, I found one I really liked. The next step was to find a stylist who could do it for me. I asked a lot of people who did their hair, including strangers with interesting styles. Eventually, I found a good one.
Lessons & tips: Don't overthink things. At the same time, make sure you know what you want. Never go to a salon without a picture.

I just gave myself a fabulous haircut. All it takes it patience, knowing yourself (and your hair) and a pair of scissors. I have very thick hair, so i put it up into three sections and cut each one individually. If you want a neat, one layered cut, use a spray bottle with water and have a friend help you out. If you want a more choppy bangs, using a one-dollar razor gives you an even length with an edge. Just remember to be patient (it took me about an hour to an hour and a half) and don’t do anything that you’ll regret later! It saves money, travel time and is very much empowering.
So I got my hair thinned, trimmed, and my bangs neatened. I added short layers as well. I went to this great spa/salon and they treated me so nicely. My hair doesn’t look amazingly different, but its so much easier to care for. I’m excited.
