I am the Family Archivist for our Family as I seem to stay in one place the most and I never throw anything away. :)
Now I am trying to restore the old movies, slides, and pictures that my Dad took all those years in Alaska. These need to be preserved as they are starting to deteriorate.
They need to be recorded on CD’s and DVD’s for easier storage and easier sharing.
I am trying to sort all the pictures into those we can’t identify and find out more about those.
Then to sort all the pictures by families and story or time lines.
This is a lot of work, very time consuming, but a labor of love.
We have the Larkin Files, The Sutton Files, The Clark Files, and The Cooley Files. Actually several other family lines as well.
I am open for any and all suggestions on how to do this easier, or more effectively.
My daughter said don’t you die and leave me the mess your Mom left you.
