I had no choice but to get one because the back fell off the other one so it was either move a fold up chair to this computer and suffer or get a new chair so I got the new chair.
It’s the same as the last one except it seems to go up higher which of course is a good thing and I’m very happy with the chair.

I was in Staples checking out chairs and I found one identical to the one we have but in black so I really want that but as I was looking around I saw an amazing vibrating one which was just super comfy and it’s on offer at the moment so I want that even more. The problem would be the lack of work going on because of the fact I can see myself falling asleep with a gentle massage program on the chair but I still want it.
So which chair I’m getting I don’t know, all I know is I will be getting it in the next couple of weeks so it’s going to be interesting to see which one I go for in the end.

For some reason, it has stopped tilting back uncontrollably (knock wood), and S isn’t complaining about using the other one. So I’d rather save the money right now.

The last thing I need is to dread sitting at my desk. I both need to work & like my job, so sitting at my desk is pretty key.
When I began to work from home full time I got what I thought was a comfy chair, but eventually realized the arms were in my way: They forced me to sit back too far from my desk. Though I work on the computer, I spend at least 1/3 of my time actually making marks on paper! To do this, I like to pull in close so that my stomach touches the edge of the desk. Also, typing with any part of my arm touching the sharp edge of my desk has caused me problems, and I go from keyboard to paper and back quite often. Therefore, I find it easiest & most comfortable to work pulled all the way in all the time, shoving my papers aside when I’m ready to type again and typing while resting my arms completely on the desk, wrists touching the edge of the laptop.
So, the chair with arms wasn’t working out for me. For a while, I handed it over to my husband, and sat on a cheap armless chair that soon felt like sitting on concrete. Then my husband pointed out that I could just take the arms off the comfy chair, so I reclaimed it and did that. And for a while, all was well again.
But a few days ago, the chair made a loud snapping noise, and while I can’t see any damage (or setting to readjust), the seat now tilts back as soon as I sit down, unless I make a concerted effort to keep it from doing so. Which isn’t exactly comfortable or conducive to working.
So now I need to find a new one. Not so hard, right? Well, it shouldn’t be, but it will be, because now I’ve given this whole matter way too much thought. So now, there’s no hope that I will find a chair and feel certain that it’s the right one. I will object to something about any chair I look at.

I was going to buy it online because it’s cheaper than buying it in the shop but I can’t seem to find it online :os
So i will be buying it from the shop but I now have a voucher so I get some money off it which makes it the same price it would be online so i’m happy.
I’m hoping to get it this weekend so then I can cross this goal off my list.
