How to record 5 things that I accomplished today
How I did it: At the end of the day, I wanted to be able to reflect on what I got accomplished during the day. I chose 5 things to do, because I think that 5 is a manageable number (not too big, not too small). Having to complete 5 tasks, also feels like an accomplishment in itself.
I have been trying to complete 5 tasks daily for the past 2 years. I started making lists, but now I just make mental list of things to do. Each day, I start the day by thinking of the 5 things that I want to get done, and just do them. It feels good to get the day started with a few tasks completed. I'm glad to finally be able to mark this goal as complete.
Lessons & tips: Write a list of 5 small tasks that you know that you can do in a day. They can be simple tasks like running a load of laundry.
