How to go to a gun range by kimmylulu

"I went shooting with some friends, and it was awesome and thrilling!""

How I did it: Just got in my car and went to shoot. We got the paper, and bullets. My friend Matthew is a pro, and gave me lots of tips. I held the gun without bullets and practiced in proper holding techniques, and stance. Once I felt a little more comfortable, I did the real thing. I could only seem to shoot the dummys head...well at least I know I could kill a man. Not sure thats something worth bragging about though.

Lessons & tips: Make sure you hold the gun tight, because it throws back, and its LOUD! If you know someone who shoots, take them with you for some advice.

    Well I found one in Woodstock. I found a friend who has a gun and will take me to “show me the ropes,” now just have to go when I get back from Michigan. Im thinking in a week or two. I want to have this completed by my birthday!

    I’ve only gotten to shoot them a couple of times (and no, not at anyone) and I think it would be a lot of fun to get good at it.
