take my daughters to Pittsburgh

It took us years to finally take this trip, but we did it! We had a fantastic time, even if our trip only lasted 2 1/2 days. We visited the Andy Warhol Museum, the Strip District, Station Square, and Ikea and rode the Incline Railroad!

I showed my daughters all my favorite sites, and we enjoyed every single minute of the trip. We are hoping to get back to the ‘Burgh again soon, even if it is only a one day trip. This goal was well worth the wait.

We weren’t able to get there in 2007, but things are looking promising, thanks to George’s incentive checks. If the President wants me to spend it, I will use it to take us to the ‘Burgh! Hopefully, the money will arrive in a month or so, and we’ll be on our way! Hooray!

About 25 years ago, I visited Pittsburgh for the first time. I fell in love with the city. It immediately felt like home to me, so I sold everything I owned and moved there. What a terrific place to live! Then, I married someone from another city and had to leave Pittsburgh. I went back whenever I could to get my Pittsburgh “fix.” Now I have 2 daughters, and I’m a single parent. My oldest daughter has been to Pittsburgh once, and she really wants to go again. So do I. We’re hoping to have the money to do that this summer.
