move to a bigger house

Just days after I added this item to my list it all fell into place….we’ve found a bigger house! It’s at least 500 square feet bigger than what we have, has an extra bedroom and 2 car garage….and more bathrooms!
We are so very excited about this but not looking forward to the hard work ahead of us with the move!!!!

I think of it as changing my reality as in almost every way…where my clothes go, what routes to take to work, where all the furniture goes, where we will eat…all shook up…

it’s happening sooner than getting the car

We have a bigger home now! It is exciting and sometimes a little scary. All the things that were in perfect working order in our old home are things we need to investigate and improve. It is a little challenging to move from a house where everything is basically done to one that needs some love, attention and especially money!

We’ve been given 2 months to move out of our house, so the next place MUST be bigger. I’m sick of the kids waking each other up whenever one goes to bed or wakes up while the other is asleep.

with a garden preferably!

The game plan as of now is to sell this house in Spring 2007 and move north about 20 minutes. The new place should be a little bigger and have a more kid friendly yard. This looks to be a reasonable goal and my husband is on board. I am noticing how different goals impact one another in a big way. Decreasing our debt is a step toward this goal as is decuttering and making home improvements. We can do this, especially as I work toward my other goals.

What a joy it would be for my daughters to have their own rooms, would also save me from having to break up yet another argument as one of them has touched the others ‘stuff’ [sigh]
