take up a hobby

....as realised that I’m not really a hobby person. I enjoy reading, bookcrossing, geocaching, puzzles….etc, I don’t need anything else.

Tried knitting with my daughter last night. Ever since we caught something on the telly about a knitters group who go to the pub and knit, the cinema and knit…etc, she’s been keen to give it a go. Was quite absorbing and relaxing, but not something I could get very enthusiastic about.
I picked up a new magazine that’s out- Creative Papercraft. Now this does look good. We made our own Christmas cards last year and that was fun. This has ideas for cards, scrapbooking and allsorts and looks like something I could really get into, so watch this space!!

I need to do something creative- away from the computer so websites don’t count LOL….scrapbooking, macrame maybe….something simple and that I can finish before my interest runs out and seeing that end result will spur me on to do another…..in theory anyway….
