How to send one special thing a month to a friend to make their day.
It made me
happy 
"It´s one of these acts of kindness that make you feel really happy"
How I did it: It was super easy. Just pick a person, determine how much you want to spend (i.e. just send a postcard or mail an actual gift), add a few heartfelt words and head to the post office.
The reason I´m not doing it anymore is because here in the US, all my friends live in the same town, and sending something over to Europe every month gets a little pricey.
Lessons & tips: Keep it simple and just mail it!

sent my sister a friendship necklace. it has a cherry pendant and the word “best” (mine has the same cherry and “friend”). i saw her wear it on skype, so i guess she likes it :)

My friend in Michigan is going to start a non-fiction book club, so I sent her “Collapse”, which I found so interesting, as a first project :)

Valentines day…. drew this of my boyfriend. :)
The frame was too big for it really, so I got a pic of Dartmoor from when we went, and wrote parts out of a Bible passage over it. (Song of Solomon, which we read some of together before :) ) and then down the side I printed out a photo of the two of us. :)
He loved it!!!
And he showed his parents, who both kept saying lovely things to me!!He did amazing things for me for Valentines so it was a really wonderful day!!

Sent a self-adhesive light to my sister for the trunk of her car -I know she`s wanted one for a while, and I know she´s broke, so I hope she`ll like it :)

Emma
I chose Emma this month because she’s an incredible friend in every way possible!! She’s there through the fun times and the bad! For my 18th she got me tickets to go see Bloc Party (combined with helping me to get over my sidromophobia by making me catch the train from Wolverhampton to Brummy!!) It was on this awesome weekend that I gave her the gift… and it just so happened she’d gotten me a lush bracelet too!!!
Her nickname is Emma the Giraffe… which is why I nabbed this photo off a card I saw (I’ve written a little message to her on the back) :) ... The bracelet was a new technique that a woman in the bead shop had taught me, so I tried it out on her bracelet. :)
Lovely end to January. :)

Apart from a birthday card from my brother I had an idea for my friend Diane. Today I sent her a little package containing different teabags in pretty wrappers and some facial masks for a cosy night at home. Air mail should take about a week, I can`t wait for her to have it!!
