My Father is Persian and tried to teach me farsi as a child. Then one day I told him I did not want to learn it anymore, and I really really regret this.

i want to learn to speak farsi as ive been married to my iranian husband for nearly 5 years and never bothered to learn it bu we have a son and i would love him to b able to speak it.

its just like learning another language… maybe not but it was easier for me cause it was my first language… even though its still shaky for me, i totally think its worth it since most people where i live (san antonio, texas) dont speak it… it makes me feel special!!!

i would like to learn persian (farsi), problem is i live in the UK and you hardly get any language schools teaching it. seems that the only only way of learning the language is via on your own/books/online tutorials…but thats not any fun as i am pronouncing all the words incorrectly!
and i only know this because my Iranian friend laughs all day at me cause i say everything wrong.
help anyone…PLEASE :)
