go thrifting

I finally got enough time to get to my local thrift store that goes to the local children’s hospital. :I bought a load’s worth of clothing. I didn’t like any of them but I sewed them up, cut them up, beaded them, anything! they look really great now! So glad I went! I got this really cool t that said “no i will not fix your computer” I wish i could photograph it better but my digtal camera is broken so i’m usin my macbook’s computer.

i bought like 40 things though, so it was probably okay.

Got a cute dress and a broach. though as soon as I got home my mother dropped my broach and a jem fell off. I haven’t found it and now I want to cry. Sigh, at least it was only two bucks. still need to alter the dress to make it fit.

I need to go more often! Found these lovely shoes today for only 4$ at Value Village. Awesome stuff.

This past weekend, I went on a multi-thrift store spree, and I can safely say that I’ve fulfilled this goal, at least for now. I found a few more bowls to round out my dishware collection, as well as some more records to add to the “listen to” pile. Maybe when I decide to donate or sell more stuff, I’ll resume.

I miss wandering the aisles of my local Goodwill(s) early weekday afternoons without the big crowds. Damn you, day job!
