I’ve been to the gym Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday this week!! :D I feel stronger and able to workout for longer periods of time ;)
To say this is complete:
+ weigh 130 or less
+ have nice arms
+ thighs more toned

I deadlifted 65 lbs for the first time ever!



Getting more fit!! :D 5 days ago

I went to the gym yesterday and today and I am truly feeling stronger. My muscles can take more exercise and for longer periods of time. I feel like I can really push myself. I feel good. I am going to be taking my second Zumba class tomorrow, which is exciting because it’s fun and I get to dance and also feel sexy while I workout ;) try it! I am also eating better, well before the halloween candy came into the house ha ha

this goal actually includes
* Excercise 2-3x a week
* lose some weight
* complete 200 sit-ups programme
so it really is the main goal but I’d rather work with the other three for the time being.



Ran my fastest race 2 weeks ago

This weekend, I ran my fastest race this year. I did a 5 mile race (8km) in 53:23. I’m going to keep working on improving my speed, and endurance so that next year I can do a half-marathon.



Went to Zumba 2 weeks ago

I went and did Zumba today, it was amazing! I never thought for some reason that I’d work out so much and feel so exhausted afterwards. I really felt like I’d just spent an hour in the gym working on what I usually do so I was pleased. The dance steps were easy for me to follow because I love moving to music with my body and it was really fun! I am excited for the next class!



Zumbaaa 2 weeks ago

Starting Zumba tomorrow for 6 classes, I was a little late in entry as I just found out that it’s been going on 4 weeks already. Does anyone know if starting on the 5th class is a bad idea haha (hard dance moves) I really love dancing to music and think I can handle it, it will also test my fitness I suppose and coordination. I am really excited.

it always seems like there’s no time and next month…next week..by next summer or this winter i will get fit. And i’m talking not just satisfied with my overall body image but fit. I like myself. I love my figure. Just need to tone it. The question is how. And when. And how long is it supposed to take?



Best shape, soon to come? 3 weeks ago

Lately I have been going to the gym with my friend. We have been doing exercises that I haven’t tried before and I feel like I am getting stronger and hopefully soon I will feel thinner too ! :P I just have a bit of weight in my stomach and my thighs that I need to work on.
The ‘best shape of my life’ would be…
To have small hips, I’ve always has more weight in my hips which cause my thighs to rub when I walk. I’d love to lose that altogether, so does my friend haha but she is the weight I want to be at.(122lbs). I want to have abs. With the exercises I’ve been doing, that could be possible, I just need to push myself to go the distance. Long endurance means running long distances, being able to really go farther without getting tired. Upper body strength, meaning good arms, fit arms and strength. A flat stomach is obviously a number one priority, It would make me feel amazing to wear tigheter tops without the buldge showing. These are some things that I would cross off the list of being in the best shape of my life.

After three months.... 3 weeks ago

I have been working out at least four to five times a week for the past few months and I couldn’t be happier. I have dropped around 20lbs and while I still would like to lose some more weight, that wasn’t really the point. I was in Peru last summer, and while I had a wonderful time, I really was envious at the people I met who had hicked the inca trail. I love camping and the outdoors, and the idea of the trek was pretty exciting. I realized at that point that my goal in the next year would be to do the trek. So far, I have worked up to a five km race, and the next step is to work toward 10km and also spend quality time on the step machine! I have problems with altitude, and so want to do as much as I can to increase my cardio capacity as I know it isn’t going to be easy. I am pretty psyched to see where my fitness trek is going to take me. I have friends who do one marathon a year in very exciting places around the world…that sounds like fun :)
