watch the sun rise

that’s the most beautiful view ever. for the girl who can’t get up this early – just don’t go to bed. do it after a party or something, get a friend and just go to the beach and enjoy :)

is that I’m gonna have to get up super early.
And I’m not a morning person lol.
It should be worth it though.

Every Sunday morning at Glastonbury its tradition to watch the sun rise from the stone circle – Beautiful!
But you can watch the sunrise from most places I guess & this goal should be relatively easy to achieve considering its an opportunity presented to you every morning – Do it tomorrow!

I am finally finished school! There is no reason that I cant make this happen over the summer since I should have plenty of time on my hands… or at least more then I do now!

Alright, so while I don’t really categorize much as “not worth doing” because everything’s worth a shot, everytime I’ve watched the sunrise, it’s been depressing and lame. Depressing because that means I’m up at that hour and I’m probably tired (I value my sleep <3), and lame because I live as westward was it gets, so watching the sunrise basically meant watching the sky turn lighter. I didn't actually get to see the sun "rise".

That being said, I’d love to do it somewhere where I can actually see the sun!

just to watch the sun rise. a little more than an hour to go!
i’ll be alone, it will be wonderful.

and since this is a challenge, i view it as completed. It’s been cloudy for the past week, but i’ve stayed up and attempted, i’ve seen it go from light to dark..i just haven’t witnessed the colors. i’m sure i’ll put this back on my list at some point.

So, it turns out that the top of Twin Peaks, the top of the hill on which I will soon be living, is a spectacular place to watch the sun rise. Which means soon enough, I will be waking up extra early, dragging myself up the hill, and taking pictures. I’m excited that I might even do it alone.

I always feel like I’ve wasted my day when I sleep in till lunch. I realise that the only times I’ve watched the sun rise are on the way to school in winter, and I usually feel really groggy then, coz I don’t want to go to school. Sometimes when I see paintings of this and think how beautiful they look, I should be thinking about how much more beautiful it must look in real life, and when I think about how long I’ve been living on this planet, and how little I really appreciate it, I realise I would like to spend more time just looking. I’d hate to die before I do this. So I’ll be getting up tomorrow, very early, and I’ll sit in the park to watch what I’ve been missing for years.
