How I did it: The only reason I didn't really enjoy learning to play tennis is because I had a really awful instructor who couldn't care less about my progression. He just sort of made everyone feel bad about themselves. Unless you were a natural, he didn't really bother with you. So for that reason, I absolutely hated learning tennis. He pretty much ruined it for me. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I went to playyourcourt.com and booked a lesson. Their website is pretty convenient because they send a pro to any court you would like. I had one of their pros come to the court at my apartmet complex for the lesson. The lesson went great and I've been taking from them for about a month now. Read how I did it…

How I did it: I just went with my friend to play one day.She told me all the rules and whatnot and it was just sort of easy really...That's about it,not too much more to get...I still kind of suck a serving though. Read how I did it…

How I did it: The only reason it took me three months is...well lets just say I'm a sloooow learner. It all started when my sister decided, spur of the moment, to join the tennis team with her friends. Tryouts being a month away she needed to learn how to play. My dad knew how to play so offered to teach her, and I tagged along. The thing is my dad works allot so he gave us about 4 lessons. Thankfully there is a ten… Read how I did it…

After watching the Wimbledon tournament over the last couple of weeks, I have been inspired to learn to play tennis, at least a little bit.

I would like to learn how to play, not only to get a little bit more fit, but to have fun and learn something new. I’ve always wanted to lean how to play and then slolwy people I knew were raving about how awesome and fun it was. So I wanna do this now(in the Spring) while it’s not to hot and not to cold. Me and my brother would do this together becuase we both will suck and mostly hit somthing that does not need to be hit. On the good side we like to be competitive in a friendly fun way, and it will be cool to hang out more and have something in common.
I think this will be hard work but a lot of fun.

I really liked tennis after watching this anime called the Prince of Tennis. So after that I wanted to play it. It was harder then I thought at first but soon I became to love the game. It was a lot of fun learning it too. I made so many new friends at the tennis clinic in the summer and now I play 2nd doubles on the Varsity Tennis Team at school. :]

I’m taking a tennis class at the university next semester to get some exercise. I’m hoping I’ll learn a lot.

One of the gifts my husband surprised me with was a new tennis racket and some tennis balls! I was stoked since we’d mentioned possibly playing sometime in the past, so it was neat that he remembered :D We’ve already played twice since Christmas, and it’s NOT easy in the least! Luckily, we’re fairly athletic/active, so it’s more of a fun challenge at this stage, but running around under the scalding, hot sun and trying to control the ball is pretty hard. I think it’s fun though and want to keep going! It’s a great workout, and another fun way to spend time with my husband :)
My parents and my brother already play tennis. My brother actually used to compete but had to leave competitive tennis in high school because it was affecting his grades.
So, I’m kind of the oddball in the family. But I’ll make that change. I’ve already taken some tennis classes and have gone practising with my father, but I still suck.
I will feel accomplished when I beat someone in an actual game (not my father, because he’ll surely let me win hehe).
