get a new mattress

were upgrading their guest room from a queen to a king, and passed the mattress on to me which was is in excellent condition. So much better than sleeping on a dodgy mattress with springs about to pop through the fabric. :-)

that I may be a little closer to having one when I finish the sewing order that I got today.

Mattresses are so expensive (half decent ones anyway), that I hope that I can be at least close to getting one that will help my back.

I am tired of not getting any sleep because my back & neck hurts. I slept on a friend’s memory foam & want one so bad!

I desperately need a new mattress in my room because my mattress is really uncomfortable its hard to sleep at night.Whenever I sleep on other beds I am out like a light.

well, the universe responded and my coworker gave me an old mattress, that was newer and better than the old one I had, for free!

YAY we just went to the mattress store and got us some new mattresses and everything. it’s being delivered thursday at noon, thank god!

soooo comfortable. no springs digging into my ribs every time I move. And apparently since I’m so comfortable while sleeping, I can get 8 hours sleep in 6. We’ll see.

If you go shopping after 7, you have a choice of ONE mattress shop. We tried a number of mattresses, and (naturally) liked the most expensive one. Is it worth spending $1899 on a mattress, albeit made out of 100% latex and assembled in Australia, with virtually no “partner disturbance”? AND, if we decide to get this one, we have to wait 5 weeks.

my mattress is ok but when I stay at HandyMan’s house (refer cohabitate) I wake up with a sore back and it’s driving me nuts (plus I’m sure I will save, long-term, on chiropractic bills). So we’re going shopping tonight for a mattress. And then, when we re-model his house, we can get a lovely new bed with a wooden bed head and matching bedside tables. And lamps. Currently we have one lamp each (ie I have one at my house and HandyMan has one at his house).

I love my new temprapedic knock off! My old futon feels like a bed of twigs and pebbels in comparison…
