‘State management’ on a consistent basis is the one habit we need to form in order to achieve success and personal fulfillment.
Success = a life of consistent pleasure and continuous learning.
Ask and you shall receive.
5 questions to ask myself every morning:
1- What is great about the weather today and what will I do outside to experience it in the best way possible?
2- What could I accomplish today that would really make life better for myself and those around me?
3- What am I most excited about in my life this week?
4- What am I most happy about in my life right now?
5- What can I do today to grow closer to family and friends?

power of why
What am I dissasified in my life right now?
- Health- physically underweight, thin/slim, limited flexibility, limited aerobic power
- Family- Drifting away; I need to bond more; do things together nmore
- Socially- not mahy friends outside of work in my personal life; very limited interaction outside of family
- Spiritually – feel stagnated; not much progress made; do not have a family prayer time
- creativity- at a minimal; have not painted or written anything for eons!
- Financial- have to work very hard and still cannot meet my goals. Always wondering about financial impact of going on vacations or to do fun things. have not gone to concerts, or games or eaten out. Not savvy with my money and no investments to speak of! Dammit it, it is a shame! I cannot even help my relatives who have dire health issues without worrying about my own financial health. I am already having problems with my productivity which may be very limited in future due to health issues. I am not even 1/10 of where I planned. Family’s future has not be secured yet!
- professionally: have not kept up with the latest development or new technologies; have not gone over journals in the longest time; also working more than everybody else just to meet basic needs! I wish I could take days off and have fun or at least focus on sharpening the saw
Two limiting beleifs and replacing them by two empowering beleifs
1. I am too old!
- Maturity is power, wisdom and focus! Age is a number in my mind- I am vibrant with health and fitness and passion for life; I am more foccused and proactive now
2. Taking risk is bad
- Taking educated risks is the stepping stone for phenomenal success. Everybody who is somebody has taken risks in life. Everybody who is somebody has had failures in life.

Changing two limiting beliefs
- I had identified two beliefs yesterday that I wanted to change
THe two new beliefs were-
1. I want to give 200% in everything I do because that is being alive and vibrant rather than sleep-walking through life
2. I am always capable of doing anything when I am committed 100%
THe dickens pattern was done where I visualized myself as a haggard aged dying loser in life with my old beliefs to a healthy loving vibrant younger man when I incorporate the new beliefs

My current heirarchy of “moving towards” values:
1. Faith: I feel this innermost connection with the divine as I close my eyes and take deep relaxing breaths. This can also be achieved by praying together as a family.
2. Love: If I can love others, I feel the love myself. I am loved because I am alive
3. Security: Enough to provide abundance for my family and close ones
4. Connection: acknowledging
4. Confidence: If someone has done it before, I can do it too
5. Respect and significance: When i live by what I beleive is right
6. Adventure
7. Pleasure
8. Comfort
My current hierarchy of moving away from values
1. Humiliation: When I have not given my best in what I strongly believe is right
2. Embarrassment: I have gone against my rules when I had other options available
3. Rejection: If i am alive then I am loved and not rejected
4. Depression: When I have not given 100% and I have not learnt anything
5. physical pain
6. Overwhelm
7. anger
8. Frustration
What two limiting beleifs do I need to change?
1. I cannot give 100% because it can kill me. I do not want to put all my eggs in one basket
New beleif – I want to give 200% because that makes me feel awake and alive and not live my life like a zombie!!!
“I do not want to put all my eggs in one basket”- from someone who has not heard about the incubator.
2. I am not capable
‘Not capable’ of WHAT??
Just do it!! If i am commited 100% then I am certainly capable.

a) Find your power moves
- Yesss, move the right elbow down briskly as if I am yanking a chain
- Making a fist and shaking it in front of my face
- tilting the head slightly down and holding my palm open in front of me with my elbow slightly bent and moving it with power slowly to the side
b) DIfference in physiology between talking passionately and dispassionately
- Passionate- back is straight and actually over curved, shoulders back, face staight, vibrant tension, breathing full, talking powerfully. Dispassionate- droopy shoulders, bent spine, face down, muscles relaxe3d talking with a dour tone
c) Snap from bored and tired to energized state

Four things from day 2 and why I must accomplish it
a) No TV
1. It takes my time away which is the only thing that we have when we are born
2. Nothing good on TV anymore
3. Gives me massive migraines
4. I am letting somebody else manipulate me and my thoughts
5. I had been watching so much tv in the past that the pink floyd words are litterally true- “Ten years have passed beyond me and no one told me when to run”
6. I hate the way I feel after watching the TV! I feel disgusting, nauseated and distracted even after watching some of the best shows
7. I want a totoal control over my life and not let the advertizers have control over mine
8. Takes time away from my son and family
9. I have to be a good role model for my children. If I watch TV, they will copy me and start worshipping the idiot box
10. I slouch, slump, lie down all of which makes me feel old, jaded and disgusting
B. No News
1. News is fukking biased
2. Makes me fret and worry over things that I have no control over
3. I waste tremendous chunks of time reading and then rehashing and getting mad
4. I will benefit all the rich news corps that are already hauling in money. Why should I help the papparazis and gossip mongerers make money off the misery in the world?
5. I will be giving away control over my life to entities that I do not know or trust
6. Nothing ever happens or changes even if I follow the news ardently. I can always get the traffic report, fovirite sports report, important national news from people around me
7. The news puts me in a miserable lousy state that makes it unbearable for people around me and care and love me. So in short I spend most of my time trying to be an idiot
8. When I read the news, I feel addicted. I feel like an alcoholic who is trying to phase out pain by numbing my senses with pointless drivel
9. Takes time away from my choildren, my goals
10. I do not want to reach my deathbed wondering what I could have been instead of what I am now
11. This is my second chance in life and I am NOT ready to piss it away reading about misleading crap and opinions that I have no control over or don’t give a damn about
C. Meditating daily
1. It makes me feel centered and calm
2. I like the feel of accomplishment
3. Gives me the emotional energy and moves me towards my goal of equinanimity
4. Takes me towards my goal of spiritual connection
5. Helps me with my supreme desire of awakening the kundalini force and not losing my ballance at the same time
6. If I don’t then I will be setting a bad example for my children
7. This is my second chance in life and I will lose the opportunity of self-realization during this lifetime. If I could not then what a waste of a second lifetime!
8. It gives me focus and removes me from the sphere of influence of other entities
9. it makes me vibrant and strong
10. Allows me a level of spiritual connection with my beleifs and would help me immensely towards fulfilling my dreams, goals and providing an exciting and special life for all my loved ones
11. Allows me to connect to my roots
D. Keep a blog/journal every day
1. I can leave it for my children to understand my life and be inspired by it
2. A life worth living is worth recording
3. If I don’t then I will not be leaving clues for my children on life and success
4. Progress and improvement in life is much faster when it is measured. Blogs and journals are a way of measuring life and goals
5. gives me a sense of control and accomplishment
6. Writing is a meditative experience. It helps me feel centered and connected to nature and life
7. Will definitely help with my writing skills and go towards my goal of writing a book
8. I can list all my magic moments daily that will help me and drive me to greater success. I have been bad at not celebrating my success in life, I am always supereager on looking at the next milepost. This would allow my mind to relish those sweet moments of victories and learning to enhance my experience
9. Give me stories and insights that allows me to connect to others
10. Improve my typing skills

2. There is always a light at the end of a tunnel. SPring always follows a winter
3. If I am really commited I can master anything
List 3 associations that have had negative consequences
1. Consistency is boredom
2. I need time off by watching TV or playing video games
3. I am not willing to give 100% because somehow in my mind I do not wish to put all my eggs in one basket
