How to regularly write in my dream diary
How I did it: It is very important to remember our dreams. It is well known that they reflect our real life and help us understand what subconscious wants to tell. But writing in a dream diary helps us in other ways, too. When I started to write down my dreams I could remember very few things from night, in the beginning. Later, my dream memory improved and I could remember more and more dreams, and finally i could recall about 6-8 dreams from one night. My memory improved also in real world - I could easily remember numbers or facts I heard somewhere before, not noticing when I learned them.
I have been writing in my dream diary for 9 years, but had some long intervals i didn't do this - mainly because i was too lazy. I wanted to write regularly and i assumed i need 1 month to start doing it again.
Lessons & tips: Try to write your dreams just after you wake up - it's the best time because you remember most of your dreams in the morning. if you are too busy to describe your dream in full details, write just a few words describing the main events of your dream and later you can complete when you have time.
You can also bring your dream diary to work or school, because sometimes you can remember dream during day.
Resources: In the internet you can find computer version of dream diaries - I used them in the past. it is good way to write your dreams if you don't like hand writing.
