I went to the dermatologist (another one in my life, hell) and she gave me a medication (as well as a note to run an hormonal blood test, and gels to apply on my skin). It’s called Meibi (minocycline), but I didn’t work. It caused me headaches, and a disturbing feeling on my neck, I felt I had something inflamed. I decided to take half of the dose and see if I felt better, but no! so I stopped it altogether. Next time I go to the doctor, I’ll ask what I can do.
Has anyone taken this medication? And what was your experience, did you have any of those symptoms? 6 months ago

OCM is not for me. It leads to worse skin than I had to begin with. That is fine, but I would like to find something that does work! 10 months ago

I know I need to stop picking it, however for me its not as easy as just vowing to do so. I do intend to try. 11 months ago

Now I will tell you what I’ve done for you, 50000 tears I’ve cried, screaming, deceiving and bleeding for you, and you still won’t hear me.
Don’t want your hand this time I’ll save myself, maybe I’ll wake up for once, not tormented daily, defeated by you….
This is how I feel sometimes. I wish in a few months I can write the other half of the song and remove this task from my list forever!! 12 months ago

I realised yesterday that I don’t have so much flaky/oily skin on my nose (something that comes and goes and is probably indicative of a B vitamin deficiency).
If it is improving, then that’s a pretty fast reaction time and is only the result of drinking more water, no caffeine, improved diet and B vitamin supplements. 13 months ago

I have quite good skin but my diet has not done me many favours in the past. I’m drinking more water and eating healthily now, so I’ll have to wait and see what happens.
The main thing I’d like to improve is the darker skin under my eyes and to have fewer spots, and less often. 13 months ago

How I did it: I became mostly vegetarian and began supplementing with CoQ10, fish oil, evening primrose oil, zinc and selenium. I also do sugar scrubs weekly and use natural moisturizers instead of moisturizers with parabens. Read how I did it… 16 months ago
