Organise my music collection

I just received a new MP3 for my birthday, the Sony NWZ-A828K, it is beauuuutiful :D Complete with 8GB of music already loaded, to add to my 10GB that I have collected and organised.
Mission Complete.

0-900 songs in 4 days! finally I can put them all on my laptop

My laptop has been fixed and I have the internet so am able to rebuild my music collection (hehe). This time it is all properly organised and I will actually back it all up so I cant lose it again!

I tried to do this sometime last year with my mp3s, but I set the parameters incorrectly on my tagging application and inadvertently re-tagged all my songs with the titles and artists swapped around.

So now I have the likes of ‘Clocks’ and ‘Fix You’ as artists in my music player with tracks such as ‘Untitled’ and ‘Unknown’.

I’ve split all the correctly tagged songs into folders separated by letter, artist and album so now all that remains is to re-tag the 3,000-odd songs with incorrect labelling.

Shouldn’t take too long! o_O
