    I did not anticipate how intense this project was going to be! First we had to take the wallpaper down, then the adhesive, then sand the walls, then wash the walls, and finally prime and paint. Yikes. I just finished washing the walls. I THINK we’re going to prime tomorrow. We’ll definitely have it finished by the end of the weekend and I’m so excited it’s almost done.

    Yeah, um, unrealistic goal. I just started student teaching and I didn’t have a lot of time off to prepare. So, excuses, excuses. Not done yet.

    Of course I made it so much worse by procrastinating on all the little trimmy bits that needed a zillion coats.

    Painting a dungeon grey kitchen (who does this?!) red and white is so life giving and refreshing. Now to deck it out with 1950s kitsch. :D
