buy a new wardrobe!

So… most of my clothes don’t fit. For those that do, they’re the type of shirts you get at a place when you volunteer. They fit, but aren’t what I’d wear every day. So… I want to build a wardrobe this summer. I’m growing… and want a better wardrobe to match.

I bought new pjs, a couple of bras and panties, two outfits for church and shoes to boot. I think I did pretty well. I don’t need too much else. I’m pretty straight on that. so I may take this off.

I need new flattering clothes.

Because it has been 2 years since I have done it.

All I want are some new shirts—casual, but not too casual or too cute. Even though spring is coming, I need long sleeves, because the winter shirts I’ve been wearing are not fit to be seen outside the house. But the department stores seem to have only teeny-bopper styles. It seems like everyone just wants to be sexy these days, but that’s not appropriate at work.

Buying new bras. As Oprah says, a good bra can work wonders on a woman’s appearance. After all, you wouldn’t put high-quality siding on a rickety house frame, would you? So I’m going to start by bolstering the support structure.

Cato and Wal-Mart are putting a hole in my wallet! :) I bought a lot of new stuff in the last 5 days! I really needed this; I haven’t shopped like this in a long time. But here’s the catch: mostly everything I bought was on sale or on a clearance. I’ll admit it, I’m a bargain shopper and I’m damn proud of it! I have to hit Ross & Marshall’s when I go out this weekend and find some nice suits and dresses.

I bought a couple of new sweaters and shirts at Cato last month. I didn’t know that Wal-Mart had some nice stuff! Give me $100 and I’ll go crazy in the clothing section! :) I’m so ready to go shopping!

all my old clothes don’t fit me anymore.. and i want to change my style from the teen clothes i wore into a more mature style. since now i am 21 and not 18 anymore. too bad i don’t know that much about ‘sophisticated fashion’. i need to try and pry myself away from the DC shoes when i look for shoes, and spend more than $30 on a spring jacket, maybe ‘spring’ for the more expensive one?

I am about to go to college. I need a new wardrobe. All my clothes seem so childish to me. I want to feel more sophisticated for my freshmen year of college!!
