How I did it: In the beginning, I thought I had to pack big fancy lunches like salads with lots of different stuff in it to make it worthwhile. Now I pack a sandwich, a yoghurt and some fruit and I'm all set in less than 5 minutes!I save a lot of time and money, and I'm eating healthier too! Read how I did it…

When I decided to go running regularly, I bought running shoes. Same for yoga pants for yoga, gym shoes for Thai bo, pretty sheets for more and better sleep.
For packing my own lunch, it was a bento box…it´s pretty and I definitely want to use it! I downloaded a bunch of recipes for rice and pasta salads, and I´m thinking about other healthy stuff like trail mix, some olives or some fruit. I can always get a bowl of soup from the cafeteria if I feel the need for something warm :)

I am working on this goal, as proper diet is an important part of the work-out routine I hopped on. It makes lunch one of the opportunities to fuel with the necessary nutrients. I dont make a “cult” of it, being quite flexible and non-legalistic about my choices, but I notice how my body responds with energy lever keeping high and strength for the tough workouts.
Own lunch is not just a money saver, it’s a treat :)

A solution that I came up for now is to bring the small hand-held blender to the office kitchen and whip up mixed shakes for lunches. I let others use it, too, so it’s creating more interaction with the colleagues, which I am also enjoying. :)
