How to send a post card to PostSecrets

How I did it: so very simple, you can make your own post card, are use a postcard.. write whatever your secret is, be as creative as you would like. most post cards are annoymous. then simply mail it to Post Secret 13345 CopperRidge Road, Germantown, Maryland 20874

How I did it: The hardest part with this goal was coming up with the actual secret. I happened to have blank postcards and postcard stamps on hand, so once I had the idea in mind, it was really just a matter of putting the pen to the paper. Now that I have done it once, I have a feeling I will do it again, but this time make a really pretty one. I would love to share a picture of this one, but that would kinda ruin the whole secret aspect of it. Read how I did it…

The best thing about sending in your postcard is the sense of freedom you get the minute that postcard falls into the mailbox. For a moment, you hesitate, but once you drop it in, you’re suddenly free from that secret. Knowing that it’s out there in the open, not harbouring in your back of mind, keeping you awake at night; it’s such a relief. It’s definitely worth doing!
