i want to sew beautiful clothes for my friends and i want to look good in my sewed clothes….....i only want to do this by hand …..and not the machine
How I did it: My mom taught me the basics of sewing awhile ago, and after that, I would have fun messing around with the sewing machine. I became interested in making clothes, and made a whole bunch of things.
Lessons & tips: When you're just beginning make sure to buy a pattern, so you can get the basic shape of making clothes. Also have someone that's experienced help you out. Its also easy to 'modify' some of your old clothes.

i did sewing in my early years of life that time i didn’t like it and i thought it is waste of time. my elder sis used to give me some extra work of sewing indian clothes like just stitching sides , hamming, or tucking buttons. but now i think every person should know basics of stitching. living abroad and don’t know how to stitch is big pain in a.. its good that i know basics so i am sure i can make simple salwaar kameez. i am planning to buy a sewing machine from walmart. i am going to update this post after 2 months. by that time i will have all the things ready for my sewing agenda.

all the mending that was in the basket is done, of course, I know there are more things that need to be sewed lurking in the laundry pile I’m sure, but for now, this is done.

I need to repair several things right now, including buttons and ironing some knee patches into DH’s jeans to protect them from his very sharp knees
