Hoofed about London from 6:30am until 3pm when we finally reached the hotel. Stopped for a nap and refresher and went back out at late afternoon. When we arrived at the London Eye, we walked straight up to the counter for tickets, went right into the 4D preview (VERY cool) and then went straight onto the ride in time for sunset.
I’d been told to pre-book as it gets super busy, but we took a chance and it worked out rather well.
I highly recommend it – the views were spectacular. This is a shot I took showing the ‘car’ next to us and the Parliament & River Thames below.

I went when it first open. It was ok I guess, but I was a few years younger and it wasnt all that interesting at the time. I guess it might be different with different company and now Im abit older. It was technically a perfect night, walking down the river after a trip on a boat the going on a nightride on the london eye (whilst queing I met Trisha, wow!- not) but it just didnt capture me I have t say.

I went on it with my mom when we went to London last year! It was amazing. We were on just as the sun started setting, beautiful view! This is something I’ll be sure and do when I go back to London!

It was closed for renovation last time I was in London! I promised myself to go back and try it!

Absolutely fantastic. The guys working there are lovely and Elvis in particular was charming and helpful to my disabled ma. A wonderful time.

~ John Lee ~ setting my sights lower so I can set them higher
Taking flight, slowly, seeing the centre of the Universe from on high – amazing!
I took an evening flight an loved it.
The romantic in me loved looking out toward Heathrow and watching the planes make their way to the far reaches of the Empire.
I would do it again, and again
