jamity is back in school.
Got my ear pierced a week ago – I had a couple hours to spare, so I drove to the mall with my mom and just did it. I love it – can’t wait for October when I can change it though – sparkling diamonds aren’t really me.

‘Claires’ and ‘Iceing by Claires’ just started cartalidge peircing. Personaly, I don’t ‘shop’ there but people there actualy know what they are doing. I’m happy! :D
Call me strange, but I fainted the first time I had my ears pierced so decided that when I wanted my second holes done I’d do them myself. (yes, strange indeed…) So after doing the second holes I did the cartilage at the top of my ear. It took longer than the normal bottom of the ear piercings but it was worth it and I still love it now approximately 10 years later :D I never really had much of a problem sleeping on it but as I like the look I wear the tiniest hoop I could find at the shop and think it looks wicked.

25 january. still not really healed, but im not very healthy right now!
it did get infected, and had white yucky stuff =s so i was on antibiotics for 2 weeks, that cleared it up, hard to remember to take them though!
i hardly even felt it. the guy did it with a needle/tubey thingy and all i felt was like a sort of hot prick and then it was through, bit uncomfortable for like 2/3 seconds, went through slower than i thought! but apart from that it was fine. although i do have a quite high pain threshold.
after i cleaned it with spray on savalon but i think salt water is best. oh, and it still is a bit uncomfortable to sleep on it sometimes, but that could just be the position of the ring!
does anyone know what type of salt you use? cheers x
Since ages I’ve had three at the top of my right ear, and a scaffold and tragus on my left ear and stretched the highest one on my right ear to 5mm.
All hurt quite a bit (bar the tragus which was significantly less painful than the rest and the stretching was just pressure)
but they were completely worth it an have many more planned for the future
I am so glad I got my cartilidge pierced, but I’m not gonna lie- I was nervous. You just need to make sure you’re really careful. Go to a piercing place that uses needles- there’s a less possibility of infection. Don’t get pierced with a piercing gun. Also, many places use numbing sprays. It makes it WAY less painful. If you go to the right place, it will be fine. I love my piercing!
I’m giving up… I’m not really that anxious to do it anymore (I think part of why I wanted to do it was a rebellion thing). Not sure I ever will, and I’m okay with that. Plus I’m afraid of needles, so this will spare me.
got the industrial done… it only really hurt because he had to repierce it right after because it was at to much of an angle.. i find the top cartilidge hurts less…
my mom and i decided to get them pierced together on mothers day in 06… thats enough time to decide which ear ithink
It was great times getting it pierced. Sure, it stings a bit, and may sting for a while afterword, but it’s a great conversational piece, lol. Especially when it takes friends 2 years to figure out you had it even though they can always clearly see it through your hair ;D
