grow old with my husband

This man I met has been the best thing that happened to me he treats me well there nothing I can say negative about him,, Yesterday i have a lot to be thankful for he just an awesome man,, I never met anyone like him in my life he 1 in my boo

But we survived the quitting smoking thing! And I got a cool new job, so now he’s going to go back to school – I work at a wonderful job with great people who accept and value me the way I am, so suddenly, I’m wearing my hippy clothes again and working out again and I’ve got this braid thing I do behind my left ear, and I’m thinking about getting a tattoo… We’ve started holding hands and snuggling while we walk through the mall, and our daughter just thinks that’s way too cool. Things just keep getting better and better.

So are we growing older together, or younger? Whatever. Doesn’t matter.

Besides the fact that he is really a great person, a lovely friend and a great father to our three children there is this : I could not imagine being happier with anyone else. It is true that we have had and still have our differences at times, but they are precicely the things that make me change perspective and grow. He sees me, all of me, and gently / firmly nudges me on when I venture out to learn new things. He in a similar way graciously accepts my influence. Our relationship is the fluid that through gentle and constant friction polishes away the rough – and makes me a better person in the end.

Our tenth anniversary today – my present to him was that I got a nice new job. His present to me is that he’s quitting smoking. Today was his first whole day, cold turkey. Of course, we knew it would be this way, but he’s been cranky and nasty all day long. If this keeps up, we won’t make it to our eleventh!

And it took both of us to get her undressed, into her jammies and into bed. I think we’re both getting gray hairs from this wild kid, so does that count as growing old together??
