Convince 1 person a day that a stereotype they have made is WRONG!

I ordered a Guinness last night which, unfortunately, was not poured correctly. Upon arriving back to where my lady friends were standing some drunk guy celebrating his birthday made a snide comment about my pint which he followed up with, “Would you even know what a properly poured Guiness looks like?”.

Grrr… Breathe…

“Yes. Hold the pint glass at a 45 degree angle filling it up about 3/4 full. Set it down and let it settle completely, then top it off to the brim. A proper pour should take about 2 minutes. Just because I’m in a dress doesn’t mean I don’t know my beer.”

I’m a woman.
I’m an only child.
My parents were in High School when I was born.
I’m younger than all of my friends.

Maybe it’s just because I am sick and tired of hearing someone make a stereotype and I respond, “But I am [insert suject of the stereotype]” and they respond “Oh, but you’re different. You must be the exception.”

Oh really? Maybe you are just feeding the stereotype that [insert subject] are just closed minded idiots.
