visit new york 8-10 times in 2005

I haven’t counted how many times I’ve been to NY this year, but I know I’ve been at least 5 times since about August. I’m going the first weekend in December as well. Maybe I’ll end 2005 above 10 times?

I have lived there, and would love to move back.

NYC is great to visit, but I wouldn’t want to live there.

Visiting New York reminds me how glad I feel about not living there any more. City life is not for me. If I’d had more energy I would have checked out the Basquiat show at the Brooklyn Museum, but I picked up a bug somewhere, maybe at the Gang of Four show. Immune system weak these days.

Last fall and this winter I really started going to NYC more frequently. There is no point in living so close and not going. I have a number of good friends there, and there is always so much to do and see.

I’m going tomorrow, which would be #5, already. That is simply amazing compared to other years.
