learn bridge

I`m not doing this. It was just a vain fancy.

I think I like the idea of this much less than the reality.

In fact, I don’t really “do” card games, they seem to require memorising all sorts of fiddley rules.

I sopent some time lookinga t beginners sites on the web, but becaue overcome by a sort of ennui.

I think it would be best for me to learn as part of a group of beginners, meeeting them in the flesh, so to speak, but this isn’t easy as I cannot find any in Florianopolis, Brazil, where I live.

I may put this on hold.

I watched my dad play bridge against 3 computer opponents on our now defunct computer. I wish Microsoft would make a program for bridge (and spades) like it did for hearts. I could brush up my skills by playing against the computer. I hope to play this enigmatic game just a ardently as my father once did.
