i was at boots today buying some toiletries and i tried to pay with my loyalty points. the cashier told me i was 4 pence short and before i offered to put it on my visa, some lady offered to give me the 4p. she thought i was paying cash /charge and didn’t have the shortfall. so nice. in an age where everyone is so busy and self absorbed and being 1p short gets you thrown off the bus, that was an incredibly nice thing to do. whoever you are generous stranger – 5 cheers to you.
