spring clean my flat

Well, did a good job of general cleaning. Think this week I’m going to concentrate on finding some way to organise all those pieces of paper that are lurking in every drawer throughout the flat.

Really going to make a concerted effort to kick start this over the weekend. Think I’ll do a general clean first rather than take everything out of the cupboards, get bored, wander into another room and repeat the process there etc! Hmmm, maybe I should make a list. I lurve lists.

The hall is now really clean. This is important to me as it’s the first impression anyone gets of our flat.

Managed to keep the bathroom looking great too.

Hubby has volunteered to completely clean the kitchen this week so will only have the two largest rooms left to do sometime from next weekend onwards.

I’ve given the bathroom a major clean. It’s only small but took hours to get it immaculate. I’ve cleaned the skirting boards, walls, door, tiles, windows, mirror, bath, basin toilet and fed and polished all the wood (shelves, bath panels, etc). I also cleaned all the bottles and tubs lying around before putting the ones we want to keep back.

Didn’t get rid of too much stuff and brought to the front the ends that need using up.

It looks so much nicer now.

Next up is another small room – either kitchen or hall.
