Red Bellied Parrot's phrases 2 years ago

My mom’s parrot has learned quite a few phrases taught by my mother, some intentionally taught, others just caught. This list is not exhaustive, I’ll add more as I hear or remember them. I put an asterisk by the ones she says frequently.

    1. Good morning.
    2. Where is my mommy? *
    3. Ok you be a good girl, I’ll see you later. *
    4. Did you eat your supper? *
    5. Did you eat your lunch?
    6. Give me a kiss (and makes kissing noise). *
    7. Night, night. * (says this at night)
    8. My name is Joy.
    9. Hi cutie. *
    10. Hi cutie, what ‘chya doing?
    11. What ‘chya doing?
    12. Naughty!! *
    13. Peek-a-boo, where’s Joy?
    14. Peek-a-boo, I see you.
    15. Merry Christmas.
    16. Hello. * (and says hello when telephone rings)
    17. (makes telephone ring noise, then says hello.) *
    18. I love you.
    19. I…Love…You, I love you.
    20. What ‘chya lookin’ at?
    21. What are you doing, young lady?
    22. Come here.
    23. Hey munchkin.
    24. (makes oven timer and microwave timer beeps)
    25. (makes squeaky door noise)
    26. Hey, no biting!
    27. Ouch! Sh#t! Naughty! No biting! (she draws blood on this one)
    28. I’m a good girl. (you wouldn’t know it after that last one!)
    29. Say Thank You.

My Maxi Pionus named Lola is a little anti-social. After my cockatiel died 2 months ago, she has warmed up a bit now that she has all of my attention. I’m trying to get her to say hello. I think she keeps trying to say it but it isn’t clear. Maybe more socialization will help her along.
