Make a Sacque Back Gown

I have to admit I took the pattern from Janet Arnold’s Pattern’s of Fashion(the women’s black first book) Taking the pattern wasn’t hard and sewing was ok(did it on a machine)

on this goal, but definitely moving it down the list.

Will come back to it after the Angelo-Saxon kit, and Viking Apron dress.

I don’t ‘need’ this dress for anything, it is purely a labour of love!

but first I need to loose weight to make (or have made) the stays which will define the shape of the gown.

This is probably one of the few things that will actually motivate me to change my diet :-)

Prospect of a trip to Venice Feb 2007, which could work out perfectly!
